The clients wanted open spaces for play and entertaining large groups, as well as smaller spaces for more intimate gatherings.
The scope of the project included an in-ground pool and spa, large pool deck,outdoor fireplace, outdoor kitchen, pergola, pool cabana, trampoline, sport court and extensive plantings.

The goal of this project was to create a welcoming front yard that provides privacy from passing cars, planting interest all year, and a comfortable entrance walkway that is easy to navigate, We achieved this by creating a wide path with gentle curves, a berm at the front of the property, and through the use of evergreens and hardy ornamental grasses.

This project consisted of creating a garden for Mentor Collge’s primary school campus. The garden needed to be safe, engaging and durable. Metal wall art and cedar logs added interesting elements. A bird house and rain barrel provided opportunites for discussion and inquiry.

This project entailed the creation of extensive plantings that provided colour all season. With an assortment of flowering bulbs emerging in spring right through to fall blooming perennials, colour is always present. Large specimen trees were planted to frame and acentuate the house. As the house is on a corner lot and is viewed from many angles, careful attention to detail was important.

The clients wanted a contemporary new vision for their front and side yard. The strong architecture of the house influenced the design, which incorporates large, bold shapes. The integration of organic boulders provides relief to the clean lines, as does plants like golden variegated forest grass and tiger eyes sumac.
